Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh: The family of Cheeli Singaiah, who died during YSRCP Chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Palnadu tour, has raised serious concerns and demanded a fair investigation into his death. His wife, Lourdu Mary, met Jagan at the YSRCP central office and emotionally explained the suspicious circumstances surrounding her husband’s passing.

Mary said that after the accident, Singaiah only had minor injuries and was fully conscious, speaking clearly and providing all their details. “My husband was talking normally. How can he die from such minor injuries?” she asked, raising doubts about what happened during his transport to the hospital.

According to Mary, YSRCP members offered immediate help, but others insisted on waiting for an ambulance. She believes something suspicious occurred during that wait or in the ambulance.

Adding to the tension, Mary said that people claiming to be from Minister Nara Lokesh’s side came to her house and pressured them to sign documents. “We refused, but they threatened us,” she said. The police reportedly showed accident videos and tried to coerce the family.

“Jagan anna is supporting us and promised to stand by our side,” she said, urging for a transparent investigation into Singaiah’s mysterious death.

In another case, Jayavardhan Reddy, a strong follower of Jagan, reportedly died of a heart attack out of excitement on hearing of Jagan’s arrival. His father Bhaskar Reddy clarified it was due to a cardiac arrest and no one should be blamed.

These incidents have sparked political heat, with victims’ families now demanding truth and justice.
