Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Retains Telugu Desam Party Leadership
In a move that surprised no one, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was unanimously re-elected as the president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during the party’s three-day annual conclave, Mahanadu, held in Kadapa. This marks Naidu’s continued dominance over the regional party he has led for over two decades.
The re-election of the 68-year-old Naidu as TDP chief was a formality, as the party faithful rallied behind their veteran leader. Naidu has steered the TDP through multiple election victories and defeats, cementing his position as the face of the party.
