Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the state’s first Digital Nerve Centre (DiNC) in Kuppam, Chittoor district. Developed with the support of Tata Trusts, the centre aims to improve public healthcare in rural areas through digital technology.

The DiNC connects 13 Primary Health Centres and 92 Village Health Centres, offering 12 essential healthcare services such as digital health records, virtual consultations with doctors, early diagnosis tools, and standard treatment protocols. This allows patients in villages to receive expert medical care without needing to travel far.

In the first phase, the services are available in Kuppam. The second phase will expand to the rest of Chittoor district, and the third phase will bring the project to the entire state of Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Minister Naidu said the initiative is a step toward building a healthier and digitally empowered state. Health officials believe that the Digital Nerve Centre will reduce treatment costs, improve early detection of illnesses, and make healthcare more accessible in remote areas.

This project is part of a broader vision to modernize Andhra Pradesh using technology and ensure that every citizen receives quality healthcare, no matter where they live.
