The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Wednesday launched a statewide door-to-door outreach campaign titled ‘Suparipalana Toli Adugu’ (First Step Towards Good Governance), aimed at showcasing the performance of the NDA coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, collecting public feedback, and preparing party cadres for the upcoming local body elections.

The campaign was formally flagged off in Vijayawada by MP Kesineni Shivnath, who described it as a milestone moment in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s fourth term. Addressing reporters, Shivnath said the party was committed to transparent governance and was using geo-tagged data to monitor public responses and strengthen accountability at every level.

During the campaign, TDP workers will visit households across all districts, explain key government schemes, and distribute informational pamphlets. Among the highlighted initiatives are the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ scheme, which provides ₹15,000 per child annually to support mothers in educating their children, timely pension disbursals, free LPG cylinders, farmer support schemes, and job creation programs for youth.

The party’s booth-level committees and local leaders are playing a central role in reaching out to every home, aiming to bridge the gap between government and citizens. TDP leadership believes this ground-level engagement will reinforce trust, counter what it describes as misinformation from the opposition, and demonstrate that the government is delivering on its promises without delay.

Shivnath emphasized that public satisfaction is the cornerstone of governance and that direct engagement is essential to building a responsive and inclusive administration. He added that the campaign will continue across every assembly segment, making it one of the most extensive outreach efforts in the state’s political landscape.

With the local polls approaching, the campaign also serves as a litmus test for the party’s popularity at the grassroots and a platform to energize its cadres across urban and rural regions. The TDP hopes to set a new benchmark for people-centric governance and accountability through this initiative.
