India’s Entertainment Landscape Reaches New Heights: UV Creations to Build World’s Largest Cinema Screen

Mumbai, India – In a groundbreaking revelation at the WAVES Summit 2025, two of India’s leading production houses, AA Arts and UV Creations, announced their plans to construct the world’s largest cinema screen in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This ambitious project aims to solidify India’s position as a global powerhouse in the entertainment industry.

The mammoth screen, set to surpass current world records, will offer movie enthusiasts an unparalleled viewing experience, immersing them in a cinematic spectacle like never before. Leveraging the latest advancements in screen technology and audio systems, the new cinema will redefine the boundaries of traditional movie-going.

“This is a watershed moment for the Indian entertainment landscape,” said Raj Malhotra, the CEO of UV Creations. “By building the world’s largest cinema screen, we are not only catering to the growing demand for larger-than-life experiences but also showcasing India’s technological prowess and creative vision on a global stage.”

The proposed screen, which is expected to span over 20,000 square feet, will dwarf the current record holder, the Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles, which measures a mere 86 feet wide. This colossal display will be complemented by a state-of-the-art sound system, capable of delivering a truly immersive audio experience.

The decision to establish the screen in Nagpur, a rapidly developing city in central India, is a strategic move to expand the country’s entertainment infrastructure beyond the traditional hubs of Mumbai and New Delhi. “Nagpur is the perfect location for this project,” said Neha Sharma, the co-founder of AA Arts. “It’s a rapidly growing city with a burgeoning middle class and a keen appetite for world-class entertainment.”

The announcement has generated significant buzz within the Indian film industry and among cinema enthusiasts worldwide. Industry analysts believe that the project’s success could pave the way for similar large-scale investments, positioning India as a global leader in the entertainment sector.

“This is a game-changer for the Indian cinema industry,” said film critic Anita Menon. “By building the world’s largest screen, UV Creations and AA Arts are not only pushing the boundaries of what’s possible but also elevating the country’s status as a premier destination for cinematic excellence.”

The construction of the mammoth screen is slated to commence in early 2026, with an estimated completion date of 2028. Industry insiders are eagerly awaiting the grand unveiling, which promises to be a transformative moment for India’s entertainment landscape.
