The excitement surrounding the upcoming film ‘Spirit’ has reached fever pitch among fans of Prabhas, as the first look and teaser directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga have garnered an overwhelming response. However, a recent photo circulating online claiming to be Prabhas’s look from the film has stirred confusion. The image, which shows a figure from behind without revealing the face, led many to believe it was Prabhas himself.
In an unexpected twist, actor Shiva Ganesh has come forward to clarify that the viral photo is not of Prabhas but of him. Shiva, who has recently been gaining recognition as an actor, appeared as a character artist in the film ‘Andhra King.’ He shared that the photo was taken during a movie shoot, and due to the angle, it was mistakenly attributed to Prabhas.
Shiva Ganesh responded to the rumors, stating, “The photo is from the making of my movie. Our director is a huge fan of Prabhas. While it wasn’t his intention to make me look like Prabhas, it inadvertently happened.” He recounted receiving a message from a friend three days ago, who asked if he was the one in the photo that was going viral on Twitter as Prabhas. “I confirmed that it was me, but I didn’t understand why it was being linked to Prabhas,” he added.
Reflecting on his admiration for Prabhas, Shiva shared, “I grew up watching Prabhas’s films. It’s a delightful experience to be compared to him.” Despite his previous roles in popular films like ‘Pushpa 2,’ ‘Khushi,’ and ‘RRR,’ which were ultimately cut during editing, Shiva is currently busy with his role in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh.’
The mix-up highlights the immense popularity of Prabhas, as fans are always eager for glimpses of their favorite star. Shiva Ganesh’s light-hearted take on the situation shows the camaraderie within the film industry, where even unintentional comparisons can lead to moments of joy and pride.
As the release of ‘Spirit’ approaches, fans are expected to keep a close watch on updates, with both excitement and curiosity surrounding the film. For Shiva Ganesh, the unintentional association with one of Tollywood’s biggest stars may just be the boost he needs in his burgeoning career.
