Hyderabad: In a bold statement regarding the ongoing phone tapping case, BJP state president Ramchandra Rao expressed his views, declaring that there was no error in the notices issued. He remarked that what is unfolding in the state is merely a performance with “only acting… no action.” Rao humorously suggested that the two opposing parties are merely putting on a show, indicating that they are in cahoots as they continue their political theatrics.
The BJP president pointed out the ongoing camaraderie between the Congress and BRS parties, stating that both are playing a game with the public. He accused them of continuing a narrative they initially started, alluding to their previous collaborations. “These two parties are toying with the people. The SIT is of no use. In the vote case related to the notices, BRS saved Revanth Reddy, and now Revanth Reddy is saving BRS,” he said, highlighting the quid pro quo relationship between the parties.
Rao called for a judicial inquiry into the decisions made by both the BRS and Congress governments since the formation of Telangana. He demanded that all governmental decisions be subjected to legal scrutiny. “There should be an investigation into the government’s decisions by a sitting High Court judge. We do not trust the police here,” he stated emphatically, reiterating the need for accountability and transparency.
He further accused the current government of engaging in phone tapping, similar to what he alleged Congress and BRS were doing together. “Congress and BRS are both in the same boat. They issue notices but do not arrest any leaders. It is crucial to teach these two parties a lesson in the upcoming municipality elections,” he added, emphasizing the need for a shift in the political landscape.
Rao’s remarks come at a time when political tensions are high in Telangana, with both major parties facing scrutiny over their actions and decisions. The ongoing phone tapping case has sparked widespread debates and concerns over privacy and governmental overreach. As the political drama unfolds, citizens are left questioning the integrity of their leaders and the future of governance in the state.
With the municipality elections on the horizon, the BJP is gearing up to challenge the dominance of BRS and Congress, hoping to leverage the current political climate to their advantage. The call for a judicial inquiry and the demand for greater accountability from the ruling parties reflects a growing unease among the electorate, who are increasingly aware of the political games being played.
