In a surprising move, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has called for cooperation between the Congress government in Telangana and the central government, despite their political differences. Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, Sanjay emphasized the importance of setting aside party affiliations and working together for the development of the state.

Sanjay’s comments come as a stark contrast to the previous Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government, which he accused of not cooperating with the Center on matters of state development. “Even though the current government in Telangana is from the Congress party, they should come together and work with us,” Sanjay stated, referring to the need for a united approach to state affairs.

The minister’s remarks were made in the context of his request to the Defense Ministry to establish a military school in the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency, which includes the districts of Husnabad and Rajanna Sircilla. Sanjay revealed that he had already submitted a proposal to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who had responded positively to the idea.

“I have requested the Defense Ministry to set up a military school in the Karimnagar region, and Rajnath Singh has responded favorably to my proposal,” Sanjay said. “The state government should now apply through the website to facilitate the establishment of the military school.”

Sanjay emphasized that regardless of party affiliations, all political parties in Telangana should come together for the state’s development. “It is time to set aside political differences and focus on the state’s interests,” he said. “The previous TRS government did not cooperate with the Center on development issues, and I hope the current Congress government will work with us to bring progress to Telangana.”
