Disaster in the Education Sector: Thousands of Teachers Face Demotion under Chandrababu’s Mismanagement

In a shocking revelation, YSR Congress Party MLC Kalpana Reddy has accused Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of dismantling the revolutionary education reforms introduced by YS Jagan in Andhra Pradesh. Reddy claims that Naidu’s policies will result in the demotion of over 10,000 teachers, severely undermining the state’s education system.

According to Reddy, Jagan had implemented transformative changes in the education sector, but Naidu’s government is now working to undo these progress. “Teachers are even staging protests, pleading to save the education system,” Reddy said while speaking to the media. She criticized Naidu’s “confusing administration” that is leading to the destruction of the education sector.

Reddy highlighted that Jagan’s tenure saw teachers receiving well-deserved promotions, but Naidu’s policies will now result in the demotion of 10,000 educators. “On one hand, they are showing a surplus, and on the other, they are resorting to the DSC (District Selection Committee) scam. What do they plan to do with these surplus teachers?” she questioned, demanding clarity from the Chief Minister.

The MLC expressed concern over the government’s decision to sideline subject teachers, arguing that this will compromise the quality of education for students. “Don’t destroy the education system,” she appealed, urging the government to address the prevailing chaos and confusion in the education sector.

Reddy’s scathing remarks come as a stark warning to the Chandrababu Naidu government, highlighting the erosion of the state’s education system under their mismanagement. Thousands of teachers now face an uncertain future, as the state government’s actions threaten to undo the progress made in this crucial sector.
