Tragedy Strikes Simhachalam Temple: BJP Blames Endowments Department

In a shocking turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has placed the blame for the recent tragedy at the Simhachalam temple squarely on the shoulders of the Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department. The incident, which claimed the lives of seven devotees, has sparked outrage and a demand for accountability.

Phanindra, the convener of the BJP’s Dharmika Cell, has come forward to condemn the actions, or lack thereof, of the Endowments Department. In a scathing statement, Phanindra asserted that the department’s negligence and failure to maintain the temple’s infrastructure led to the devastating wall collapse that resulted in the tragic loss of life.

“This incident could have been avoided had the Endowments Department taken proper care of the temple’s facilities and carried out regular inspections,” Phanindra said. “It is their responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of the devotees, and they have clearly failed in this regard.”

The tragedy occurred on a recent day when a large number of devotees had gathered at the Simhachalam temple, a renowned Hindu pilgrimage site located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. As the devotees were waiting in line to enter the temple, a section of the wall suddenly gave way, causing a devastating collapse that trapped and injured several individuals.

According to the authorities, seven people lost their lives in the incident, and many others were left injured, some in critical condition. The entire community has been left in a state of shock and mourning, as they grapple with the devastating aftermath of this tragedy.

The BJP’s Dharmika Cell convener, Phanindra, has demanded that the Endowments Department be held accountable for its negligence and failure to ensure the safety of the temple premises. He has called for a thorough investigation into the incident and has urged the department to take immediate action to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.

The Simhachalam tragedy has once again highlighted the pressing need for better maintenance and oversight of religious institutions in the country. As the investigation into the incident continues, the Endowments Department and the state government will face mounting pressure to address the systemic issues that may have contributed to this devastating loss of life.
