Bollywood actor Nakul Mehta has shared that his journey in cinema began with Telugu films, although he laments that his first movie in the language has yet to be released. Speaking candidly about his experiences, Nakul expressed, “My career started with a Telugu movie. I spent three months in Hyderabad, during which the name of actress Shriya was frequently mentioned. During my free time, I would watch her films.”
Despite his early excitement, Nakul’s first film did not make significant progress, leading him to return to Mumbai where he started focusing on advertisements. He admits that he did not initially have a strong desire to become an actor. However, the encouragement from those around him to pursue acting played a crucial role in his decision. “I love entertaining everyone around me,” he shared, highlighting his passion for performance.
Nakul entered the television industry and eagerly accepted the opportunity to work in a Telugu film when it presented itself. However, he faced challenges due to his limited understanding of the language. “It was quite difficult for me as I struggled with the language,” he recounted. Yet, he realized that having supportive people around him made a significant difference, transforming his struggles into valuable experiences. “This journey has helped me love acting in front of the camera even more,” he added.
With a commitment to delivering strong performances, Nakul continues to strive for excellence in his craft. He acknowledged the long-standing success of actress Shriya, who has been in the industry for 25 years, stating, “She has witnessed immense success and has earned her stardom. Even today, she continues to thrive.” For Nakul, success is defined by the love and appreciation of the audience, underscoring his desire to connect with fans through his work.
Nakul gained recognition through the popular television series “Ishqbaaz” and has appeared in the Telugu film “Abhimani” in 2005. He remains active on OTT platforms, with his latest role in the series “Space Gen: Chandrayaan.” As he navigates his career, Nakul embodies the spirit of perseverance, seeking to entertain and engage audiences, all while cherishing the journey he has undertaken in the entertainment industry.
