CM Revanth Reddys Dream Set to Become Reality with Netflix

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR, attended the grand inauguration of Netflix’s Ailine Studios in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone for the South Indian film industry. With this new facility, Netflix aims to establish Hyderabad as a central hub for its operations, further promoting the region’s rich cinematic heritage.

The sprawling office, set up on an expansive 30,000 square feet, was inaugurated by CM KCR, who shared his excitement about the evolving film industry in the state. During the event, he highlighted several interesting aspects related to cinema, revealing his long-standing passion for films. “From my childhood to the present day, I have witnessed numerous changes in the film industry. Exceptional films like Baahubali, Kalki, RRR, and Arundhati have emerged, showcasing remarkable technological advancements,” he stated.

CM KCR reminisced about the golden era of cinema when legendary actors like N.T. Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao brought the film culture from Chennai to Hyderabad. He expressed his belief that the arrival of Netflix in Hyderabad is akin to Hollywood making its mark in the region. “I have always said our focus is on Hollywood, and with Netflix, my dream is about to become a reality,” he added, underscoring the importance of this partnership.

In his address, KCR assured full support for the expansion of Netflix Ailine Studios, emphasizing the government’s commitment to facilitating the growth of the entertainment sector. He announced plans to construct a large office dedicated to Netflix’s business expansion in the upcoming Future City project. “We are ready to allocate land in Future City for the establishment of Netflix’s corporate office,” he remarked, highlighting the proactive steps being taken to enhance the business landscape in the state.

The Chief Minister also reminded attendees of Telangana’s ambition to attract 500 of the world’s largest companies, reinforcing the state’s reputation as a business-friendly destination. He assured investors that their investments would be fully protected in Telangana, promoting the state as a conducive environment for business and innovation. “Telangana is synonymous with business friendliness,” KCR concluded, projecting an optimistic future for the film and entertainment sector in the region.

The establishment of Netflix’s Ailine Studios is expected to bring new job opportunities and boost the local economy, further solidifying Hyderabad’s position as a key player in the global film industry. As the state embraces this Hollywood connection, the collaboration with Netflix is poised to elevate the creative landscape and inspire future filmmakers in Telangana.
