Hyderabad: The anger of Telangana’s unemployed youth is reaching a boiling point as KTR, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for failing to deliver on his promise of providing two lakh jobs in the first year of his administration. KTR took to Twitter to express his discontent, stating that the chief minister’s empty assurances are causing disillusionment among the younger generation.

Upon taking office, Revanth Reddy had vowed to create two lakh jobs within the first year, yet he has seemingly backtracked on this commitment, now suggesting that this promise extends over a five-year period. KTR pointed out that if Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s earlier statements were to be believed, the government should have already collapsed due to its failure to fulfill this promise within the stipulated time frame. He lamented that the chief minister, who had handed out appointment letters for 65,000 jobs in the last phase of KCR’s tenure, has since given up on the rest, leading to a state of “Recruitment Zero” in Telangana.

The BRS government had previously filled 1.65 lakh positions, but KTR accused Revanth of sinking into a quagmire of falsehoods and deceit, leaving the youth and their parents frustrated. The lack of notifications for ten thousand new jobs has not only enraged job seekers but has also sparked outrage among their families. KTR emphasized that the public is acutely aware of the government’s failure to provide a job calendar and the ongoing corruption within the Revanth administration.

According to KTR, simply glossing over the promise of two lakh jobs will not suffice to pacify the four crore residents of Telangana. He asserted that even if the chief minister were to apologize, the unemployed youth would not forgive such blatant betrayal. The community has been silent for the past two years, but KTR reminded everyone that the grievances of the unemployed cannot be brushed aside.

With the promise of the “Mega DSC” and the fraudulent handling of unemployment benefits, KTR stated that every job seeker from Adilabad to Ashok Nagar is prepared to hold the government accountable. He highlighted that the farmers, who have faced neglect under KCR’s rule, have been particularly hard hit, with 70 lakh farmers suffering due to mismanagement and broken promises.

Moreover, KTR pointed out that the chief minister’s promise of providing Rs. 2500 to every woman has also fallen flat, leaving many women frustrated and angry. He accused the Revanth administration of being devoid of genuine guarantees, with all 420 promises made being mere illusions of hope.

As the anger of Telangana’s unemployed youth continues to escalate, KTR emphasized that the power of organized youth will soon be evident in how they challenge the foundations of Congress. The people are increasingly aware of the chief minister’s failures, and KTR’s calls for accountability resonate strongly among the disillusioned citizens of Telangana.
