Tadepalli – Nandamuri Lakshmiparvati, the state general secretary of YSR Congress Party, has publicly criticized Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of spreading falsehoods about the renowned deity Lord Venkateswara. Lakshmiparvati’s statements come in light of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) report ordered by the Supreme Court, which allegedly reveals Naidu’s deceptive campaigns regarding the sacred offerings from Tirumala.

During a press conference, Lakshmiparvati stated that Naidu’s political maneuvers are tarnishing the sanctity of the deity worshipped by millions around the world. She questioned how long Naidu intends to live on lies and manipulate religious sentiments for political gain. She emphasized that his actions have not only disrespected the divine but have also affected the sentiments of countless devotees.

Lakshmiparvati asserted that Naidu’s previous claims, which suggested that animal fats were used in the preparation of the famous Tirupati laddus, have been debunked by the SIT’s charge sheet. According to her, the report clarifies that there is no animal fat in the ghee used, and she criticized Naidu for failing to retract his statements despite the evidence. She raised concerns about the potential damage to the faith of millions and questioned Naidu’s lack of remorse.

She further highlighted that Naidu, along with his son Lokesh and actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, has repeatedly made derogatory accusations about the offerings made at Tirumala, which, according to her, reflects their low political standards. Lakshmiparvati noted that their actions have instigated public outrage and that the days of accountability for their wrongdoings are approaching.

In her remarks, she pointed out that Naidu’s family and associates have not hesitated to criticize him, questioning if this is the life he envisioned for himself. She indicated that Naidu frequently resorts to using social media to propagate falsehoods, emphasizing that the truth often comes to light, much to his detriment.

She also touched upon Naidu’s past alliances, suggesting that he has never genuinely earned the trust of the people but rather relied on underhanded tactics to rise to power. Lakshmiparvati stated that his use of divine names in political rhetoric is disgraceful and serves as a reminder that those who play with faith often face dire consequences.

Additionally, she called out the media’s role in perpetuating these lies, noting that the same media that once supported Naidu is now revealing the truth behind his manipulations. Lakshmiparvati urged Naidu to accept the reality of the SIT report and stop his campaign of deceit. She concluded by warning that the consequences of his actions will soon catch up with him, and that the sacredness of the offerings should never be dragged into political controversies.
