In a heated response to the recent attacks by TDP leaders, former minister Ambati Rambabu’s daughter, Sreeja, expressed her anger during a video message released from the United States. Speaking passionately, she shared how Chief Minister Jagan had visited their home and provided them with much-needed encouragement during these tumultuous times.

Sreeja recounted the distressing events, stating, “The TDP members attacked our house with stones. However, thousands of supporters came to our home yesterday.” She emphasized the support they received from the community, reflecting her father’s teachings that they are protected by Lord Venkateswara. “As long as we have divine protection, every stone thrown at us will turn into a flower,” she remarked, highlighting their resilience in the face of adversity.

The attack, which reportedly lasted for nine hours, was described by Sreeja as particularly brutal. She detailed how TDP members targeted her father when he went to the temple, and how they assaulted him with sticks. “They hurled abuses at Ambati Rambabu, especially from TDP women,” she said, shedding light on the derogatory remarks aimed at their family. Despite such provocation, Rambabu maintained his composure, vowing to confront the situation legally.

Sreeja also condemned the attacks on women in her household, stating, “They insulted the women in our home with disgraceful comments linked to our Kapu community.” She expressed her disbelief that a central minister, who is also a doctor, would orchestrate such an assault. “It raises questions about whether his intellect has truly guided him on the right path,” she added, criticizing the actions taken against her family.

Describing the physical and emotional toll of the attack on her father, Sreeja characterized the TDP’s actions as a means of deriving “demonic pleasure.” She urged those responsible for the violence to recognize that “days will never remain the same,” hinting at the inevitable consequences of their actions.

As the political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh remains charged, the support for the Rambabu family appears to be strong. “Despite the attacks, we were met with quadruple the support from our followers,” Sreeja concluded, showcasing the community’s unwavering loyalty in challenging times. The ongoing tension between TDP and YSRCP continues to unfold, with both sides preparing for what may lie ahead in the politically volatile region.
