In a recent press conference, former MP Margani Bharat raised serious questions regarding the comments made by Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan that have offended millions of Hindus. Bharat expressed outrage over the alleged disparagement of sentiments surrounding the sacred laddus from Tirumala, questioning the rationale behind Naidu’s statements and the absence of Pawan Kalyan in the ongoing controversy.

Bharat slammed Naidu for allegedly speaking irrationally, stating, “Why did they choose to hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus? How can Chandrababu claim that animal fat is present in the laddus?” He insisted that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clarified that no animal fat is involved in the preparation of these revered sweets. Bharat demanded that Naidu provide evidence for his claims that animal fat had been mixed in the ghee used for the laddus.

Highlighting the lack of credible reports supporting Naidu’s assertions, Bharat pointed out that two separate reports have confirmed the absence of animal fat in the laddus. He questioned the necessity of using such terms as “animal fat,” emphasizing that it was a careless and irresponsible choice of words. Bharat criticized Lokesh, Naidu’s son, for also making similar allegations, stating that such comments could not be justified.

During the conference, Bharat provocatively asked where Pawan Kalyan, often referred to as a traditionalist, had disappeared amidst these accusations. “If anyone else spoke about Tirupati Venkanna or the laddus in such a manner, would they remain unchallenged?” he queried. Bharat called for accountability, insisting that these leaders should not be allowed to speak on divine matters without facing repercussions.

He recalled the incident in 2018 when an order for 23 lakh kilograms of ghee was placed under Naidu’s administration, costing ₹320 per kilogram, questioning the reasoning behind including Jains in the controversy. “Jains, who are strictly non-vegetarian, have also been dragged into this issue,” Bharat noted, highlighting the absurdity of the allegations against such a peaceful community.

Furthermore, Bharat addressed the claims made by Pawan Kalyan about sending laddus mixed with animal fat to Ayodhya, calling for immediate action against such baseless statements. “What should be done about individuals making such reckless claims?” he asked, urging the High Court to take suo motu cognizance and file cases against these politicians.

He concluded by demanding a formal apology from Naidu, Pawan, and Lokesh to the people of Andhra Pradesh for their misguided statements. Bharat criticized BJP, which claims to champion Hindu causes, for its silence on the matter and questioned why Naidu has not been expelled from the coalition. He expressed his belief that divine justice would prevail, stating, “Lord Venkateswara will certainly punish them in this life. They must sincerely apologize to the devotees.” Bharat’s fiery remarks reveal a deep sense of indignation among certain political factions over perceived attacks on religious sentiments.
