In a recent interview, actress Shivani Nagaram shared her thoughts on her approach to filmmaking and the importance of leaving a lasting impression on audiences. She emphasized her belief that it is better to star in five memorable films than to rush through a hundred productions. “Some have told me that if I don’t keep making films quickly, I might disappear from the industry. However, I want to be known as the actress who consistently chooses good films,” she stated, expressing her desire for audiences to recognize her dedication to quality over quantity.
Shivani is currently set to star alongside hero Suhas in the upcoming film “Hey Balwant!” The movie, which was previously titled “Hey Bhagavan,” is directed by Gopi Achhar and produced by B. Narendra Reddy. Scheduled for release on the 20th of this month, the film is being distributed by Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati. This project marks another collaboration between Shivani and Suhas, following their earlier work together in “Ambajeepet Marriage Band,” and her subsequent role in “Little Hearts.”
During the conversation, Shivani described her character in “Hey Balwant!” as one that embodies innocence and humor. She noted that the comedic performances by seasoned actors Naresh, Vennela Kishore, and Sudarshan are sure to entertain viewers. “The second half of the film includes a poignant father-and-son emotional storyline that will resonate with audiences,” she added, highlighting the film’s narrative depth.
Shivani also expressed her excitement about the increasing opportunities for Telugu actresses in the industry. “I am thrilled that there are more roles available for Telugu girls now. Currently, I have received offers for two films in Telugu and two in Tamil, and I will share more details soon,” she said, indicating her expanding presence across regional cinema.
Moreover, Shivani is open to exploring opportunities in OTT projects, provided they feature compelling stories and characters. “If there’s a good narrative and character, I am willing to work on OTT projects,” she remarked. Additionally, she expressed her aspiration to showcase her singing talent in the future, should the right opportunity arise.
With her strategic approach to selecting roles and her commitment to delivering quality performances, Shivani Nagaram is poised to make a significant impact in the film industry. As audiences eagerly await the release of “Hey Balwant!” her journey as both an actress and a singer is certainly one to watch.
