Television actor Prabhakar’s son, the burgeoning star Chandrahass, is testing his luck in the film industry with his debut film, “Ramnagar Bunny.” Having stepped into the limelight as a lead actor, he is now gearing up for his second release, titled “Barabar Premishta.” This film will showcase Miss India finalist Meghna Mukherjee as the female lead, while Arjun Mahi will take on the role of the villain. Directed by Sampath Rudra, the film is set to hit theaters on February 6.

In a recent promotional event for “Barabar Premishta,” Chandrahass shared some candid insights about his journey into acting. He revealed that his passion for acting ignited when he was just 17 years old. However, he faced a lack of support from his father, who initially promised to back him only after he turned 25. This lack of encouragement led Chandrahass to ponder a crucial question: why should he stay idle during that time? With this determination, he embarked on a journey filled with numerous ups and downs, all while balancing his education as he was only a 12th-grade graduate at the time.

Chandrahass recalled a particularly challenging moment when he attempted to secure a role in a major production. After waiting for an extended period at a prominent office, he was ultimately informed that he was not suitable for the character they were casting. He realized that the casting directors were well aware of his lineage as Prabhakar’s son, and he lamented that if he were not associated with such a notable figure, he would have had greater opportunities to prove himself. “If I weren’t Prabhakar’s son, I would have already acted in numerous films by now, whether in small roles or significant parts,” he expressed, reflecting on his frustrations and ambitions.

Chandrahass’s determination only strengthened after the incident at the casting office. He made a bold decision not to burden his family with expenses for higher education abroad. Instead, he proposed that the funds be allocated to support his aspirations in music. “If someone were to invest around 10 to 15 lakhs for a song, I would gladly take that opportunity,” he stated, emphasizing his desire to carve out a niche for himself in the entertainment industry.

Despite the challenges he faces, Chandrahass remains optimistic about his future in films. With the release of “Barabar Premishta” on the horizon, he is hopeful that this project will open doors to more acting opportunities. He believes that if he can secure a foothold through his music, it may lead to offers for film roles that he has long desired. As he prepares for the upcoming release, all eyes are on this young actor to see how he navigates the complexities of the film industry and whether he can establish himself beyond his father’s legacy.
