In a significant statement regarding the development of the Nalgonda region, Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has asserted that there is no question of taking a step back. During the inauguration of a government school constructed under the Komatireddy Pratik Foundation in the town of Bhotaguda, the minister expressed his commitment to the area and its residents.

Minister Reddy emphasized his deep connection to Nalgonda, describing it as his “heart.” He revealed that he has approached Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to request equal funding for the Kodangal constituency, similar to what is allocated for his own region. Reddy also hinted at his political future, stating that if there is enthusiasm in the upcoming elections, he will contest; otherwise, he plans to spend his days in a room at the Bhotaguda school, reminiscing about his late son, who was from the area.

Reflecting on the past decade of governance, Reddy criticized the current financial situation in the state, attributing it to ineffective leadership that, according to him, has made it difficult for citizens to even secure appointments with the Chief Minister. He expressed concern over corporate schools, accusing them of exploiting families under the guise of education. He vowed that if he were the Minister of Education, he would shut down such institutions.

Reddy took pride in his achievements during the Y.S.R. regime, noting the establishment of the MG University in Nalgonda and the introduction of various new courses at the university. He also mentioned the completion of the Outer Ring Road, which was gifted to Nalgonda by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. His vision for the region includes ensuring that every household has access to 24-hour water supply and promoting an educational philosophy that values learning beyond just grades.

Furthermore, he announced plans for the construction of the Young India Integrated School, which aims to prioritize education and provide a comprehensive learning experience. Reddy pledged that the Bhotaguda government school will offer fully digital education, enhancing the learning opportunities for local students. He encouraged government teachers to enroll their children in the same school, fostering a sense of community and trust in the educational system.

As Minister Reddy continues to champion the development of Nalgonda, his statements reflect a commitment to both educational reform and community welfare. His proactive approach and vision for the future could play a crucial role in the political landscape of Telangana as the upcoming elections approach.
