Medak: In a surprising turn of events, former minister and senior BRS leader Harish Rao has made explosive allegations against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming that the recent fire at the forensic lab was orchestrated by him. Speaking at a public rally in Medak as part of the municipal election campaign, Rao leveled serious accusations against Revanth, asserting that the incident was not accidental but rather a deliberate action to destroy evidence related to the ongoing ‘vote-for-note’ case.

Harish Rao stated, “It is certain that Revanth will end up in jail due to the vote-for-note case. To avoid this fate, he has set fire to the forensic lab, erasing crucial evidence. This fire was not a mere accident; it was an incident that occurred under Revanth’s direction.” His comments have sparked outrage among supporters and opponents alike, as the political climate heats up ahead of the elections.

Rao further emphasized the gravity of the situation, claiming that the police were complicit in this conspiracy. “This act has devastated the lives of the poor in Hyderabad. Revanth is a thief caught in the act of the vote-for-note scandal, and as the time approaches for his potential incarceration, he has resorted to such desperate measures,” he added. The allegations have raised eyebrows and fueled speculation about the integrity of the ongoing investigations into the scandal.

Moreover, Harish Rao did not hold back in criticizing Revanth’s governance, stating, “In two and a half years, the Congress party has achieved nothing. While Chief Ministers have visited Miryalaguda, Bhupalpally, and Nizamabad, Revanth has avoided Medak. He has betrayed the people with false promises, including the farmers’ benefits scheme.”

Rao accused Revanth of failing to deliver essential services, including proper electricity supply and benefits for auto drivers and retired employees. “He promised 25 hours of electricity during elections, yet we barely receive 12 hours. The auto drivers have been misled, and there are no dearness allowances for government employees,” he said, pointing out the growing discontent among various communities in the region.

As the election campaign intensifies, Rao’s statements serve to galvanize the BRS’s base while simultaneously drawing attention to the controversies surrounding Revanth Reddy. With the municipal elections approaching, these allegations could have significant implications for both parties involved, as voters weigh the impacts of leadership on their daily lives.

In conclusion, the allegations made by Harish Rao paint a contentious picture of the current political landscape in Telangana. As both sides prepare for the upcoming elections, the fallout from these accusations will likely play a pivotal role in shaping voter sentiment and determining the future direction of the state’s governance.
