In a recent statement, former minister and YSR Congress Party leader Gudivada Amar Nath expressed strong criticism regarding the current political climate in Andhra Pradesh. Following a violent incident at Ambati’s residence, he emphasized that discussions about politically motivated attacks are prevalent throughout the state. Amar Nath condemned the attack aimed at political rival Rambabu, asserting that the victims have been imprisoned while those responsible for the violence roam free.

Amar Nath’s remarks came during a media interaction on Tuesday, where he voiced his concerns about the lack of constitutional order in the state. He highlighted the ongoing struggles faced by farmers and women, stating that the government is focused solely on publicity and event management rather than addressing genuine issues. “There is no minimum understanding reflected in the budget, which is the worst in the state’s history,” he added, criticizing the government’s financial management.

He pointed out that the previous government had deposited a staggering Rs. 2.7 lakh crores into the accounts of the poor under the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme, and called on Chandrababu Naidu to explain the current government’s financial dealings. “The government is borrowing Rs. 500 crores a day without any proper allocations for key sectors,” he noted, expressing frustration over the farmers’ plight as they struggle to access urea and other necessary resources.

Amar Nath further criticized the government’s failure to implement various welfare schemes effectively. He mentioned that there are pending dues amounting to Rs. 6,000 crores for fee reimbursements and significant amounts owed under the Aarogyasri health scheme. “Not a single scheme, such as Annadata Sukhibhava or providing three cylinders to the poor, has been implemented properly,” he remarked, suggesting that the authorities have resorted to filing wrongful cases against leaders like Ambati to divert attention from their failures.

In a related comment, Karanam Dharmasri echoed Amar Nath’s concerns, stating that a cruel administration is currently at play in the state. He asserted that the people will soon respond to what he described as the “Red Book Constitution” being enforced by the coalition government. Dharmasri criticized the detention of Ambati Rambabu, suggesting that it was merely an act of intimidation over questioning the administration’s handling of the Tirumala laddus.

As discussions intensify around the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh, Amar Nath remains resolute, declaring that his party leaders are not afraid of imprisonment. He emphasized that under current conditions, it is not just Bill Gates who will face scrutiny, but any individual who attempts to challenge the existing regime. The political tensions in the state continue to rise as leaders call for accountability and reform in governance.
