Redbook Cannot Be Forgotten: Minister Nara Lokesh

Guntakal/Guti: Asserting that the Redbook will never be forgotten, Telegu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary and state’s Education and IT Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh stated that all those who harassed the TDP cadre will have to pay the price. He vowed to withdraw all the cases filed against TDP workers.

Lokesh made these remarks while addressing a meeting of exemplary party workers in Ramamrajupalli of Guti Mandal in Anantapur district on Thursday. He said that whenever he attends any meeting, the party cadre asks him about the Redbook, and he promises to address each and every issue mentioned in it.

The minister accused the current YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government of being responsible for the increased electricity bills, claiming that the “true-up charges” are being levied due to the mismanagement of the previous government. He also refuted the YSRCP’s propaganda about the coalition government closing down schools, stating that while the previous government had 45 lakh students enrolled, the number has now dropped to 33 lakh.

Lokesh further revealed that a massive solar-wind project worth Rs 22,000 crore is set to come up in Anantapur. He then proceeded to felicitate the exemplary party workers and took selfies with them.
