In a recent political rally in Warangal and surrounding areas, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS and former minister, made a strong case against the Congress party, urging voters to avoid supporting them in the upcoming elections. He accused Congress of coming to power through false promises and criticized Revanth Reddy, the party leader, for failing to fulfill those commitments after assuming office.

KTR’s remarks came during a series of corner meetings held across municipalities in Bhupalpally, Parakala, and Mahbubabad on Monday. He highlighted the need for the electorate to be cautious and not fall prey to misleading assurances from the opposition. “If you vote for Congress again, it will only lead to stagnation. Revanth Reddy has proven incapable of governance, merely attacking Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao instead of delivering on promises,” KTR stated emphatically.

During his speeches, KTR expressed confidence that the BRS would continue to dominate Telangana politics, asserting, “In two years, the pink flag will still be flying high.” He pointed out the substantial benefits brought to the people under KCR’s leadership, including the reorganization of districts to enhance administrative efficiency, a move that has brought government services closer to the people.

KTR also warned that if Congress were to win the elections, significant gains made under the previous BRS government could be undone. “Revanth Reddy’s administration could erase the districts we fought hard to establish,” he cautioned, urging citizens to consider the implications of their votes carefully. He criticized the current Congress leadership for what he described as a failure to address pressing issues, such as power outages and the availability of essential commodities like urea.

In a lighter moment during the campaign, KTR made a personal connection with a young man he met at a tea stall, offering financial assistance to help him start a small business. This interaction underscored KTR’s approach to politics, focusing on grassroots engagement and addressing individual needs within the community.

As the election date approaches, KTR has called upon the people of Telangana to vote for the BRS, promising continued growth and stability in the state. He urged citizens to reject Congress, stating, “It’s time to teach them a lesson; vote for the car symbol and ensure BRS’s victory on the 11th.” With the stakes high, the political landscape in Telangana is heating up as both parties prepare for a crucial showdown.

The ongoing campaign has seen participation from various party leaders, including Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council Banda Prakash and former ministers, further solidifying BRS’s presence in the region. As voters gear up for the elections, the message from KTR resonates: a vote for BRS is a vote for progress and accountability in Telangana.
