In a recent press conference held at the Legislative Council media point, opposition leader Botsa Satyanarayana accused the Heritage company of engaging in a dubious agreement with the Indapur dairy, claiming it was a clear case of exploitation. Satyanarayana stated that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had clarified that there was no animal fat involved, countering rumors spread by certain parties regarding the quality of the dairy’s products.

During the briefing, Botsa criticized former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, suggesting that he had ulterior motives to siphon off resources through the Indapur dairy. He expressed concern over the Home Minister’s vague statements, urging the government to bring forth the facts in a public discussion. “Instead of providing explanations, they should come forward for a debate. Their sole aim seems to be exploitation,” he remarked.

Highlighting the government’s inability to fulfill the promises made under the “Super Six” scheme, Botsa accused it of presenting a misleading budget. He emphasized that the Heritage company was primarily focused on profit, questioning why the government was afraid to address these matters in the Assembly. “This budget fails to meet the needs of any community. When we request a discussion, they resort to diversionary tactics,” he stated.

Botsa challenged the ruling party to clarify the substantial price increase of ghee, which had risen from ₹320 to ₹700. He pointed out discrepancies in the milk pricing over the years and urged for a thorough discussion on the matter. “The statements made by TDP leaders sound like superstitions rather than factual discussions. If Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan have any integrity, they should be willing to engage in a dialogue,” he asserted.

He further criticized the government’s handling of issues affecting farmers, unemployed youth, and students seeking fee reimbursements. “The introduction of Indapur seems to be a strategy to facilitate exploitation by Heritage. The current administration is using it as a front for financial gain,” he noted. Botsa also recounted how previously, people would accept offerings without scrutiny, but now they are more discerning and cautious.

In a further blow to the ruling party, Botsa mentioned that two members of the Legislative Council had defected to the opposition, fueled by temptations. He dismissed any claims made by TDP leader Nara Lokesh as baseless and asserted that their party was not affected by his comments. “The Home Minister seems to be reading from a script. Chandrababu’s statements are nothing but blatant lies. Heritage is looking to exploit through Indapur,” he claimed.

Botsa concluded by urging the government to come to terms with the realities faced by the people. He stated, “If what we are saying is false, let us engage in a discussion. If the YSRCP administration has shortcomings, the current government should be generating more revenue. They claim to create wealth, but it only seems to benefit their leaders.” His remarks underscore the ongoing tensions and accusations surrounding governance and accountability in the region.
