Khammam: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the necessity of electing Congress candidates for the continued development and welfare of the state. Speaking at a media conference in Madhira on Monday, February 9, he asserted that only a Congress government can effectively address the issues faced by employees.
During the conference, Bhatti highlighted the government’s commitment to the welfare of its employees, stating, “We ensure that salaries are credited on the first of every month.” He also announced a plan to implement a one crore rupee accident insurance scheme for employees, showcasing the party’s dedication to their well-being.
The Deputy Chief Minister further elaborated on the support provided to women, stating that interest-free loans amounting to thousands of crores have already been disbursed across the state. “Women have benefited from free travel on RTC buses, and we are committed to providing free electricity for up to 200 units, covered by the government on behalf of the beneficiaries,” he added.
In addition to these initiatives, Bhatti mentioned the distribution of six kilograms of fine rice to each family under the ration card scheme, and an increase in the Aarogyasri health insurance limit to ten lakhs. He also unveiled the ambitious 2047 Vision Document, which aims to transform Telangana into a three trillion dollar economy, positioning it to compete with developed nations.
Bhatti noted that since the establishment of a people’s government, a peaceful environment has been maintained in urban areas. He praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s cabinet for its efforts in improving infrastructure in towns and cities, stating that advanced technology ITI centers are being set up in every assembly constituency.
Addressing local issues, he mentioned the construction of a large retaining wall to prevent flooding in Madhira and plans to develop the Vaira River as a tourism project. Furthermore, projects related to underground drainage and cable electricity supply are already underway.
Concluding his remarks, Bhatti reinforced the commitment of the Congress party to ensure that Madhira remains clean and green through various implemented plans. The ongoing efforts reflect the party’s strategic vision for sustainable development in Telangana, aiming to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
